Apples, pears and grapes star in this easy and healthy fruit salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 2 pears
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 40 green and/or red seedless grapes
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 cup orange juice or enough to fill bowl half full
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, if needed to sweeten fruit
  • 1 teaspoon grenadine, optional
  • fresh mint, optional

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice apples and pears. Peel and section oranges and grapefruit. Remove grapes from stems, and cut off tops if necessary.
  2. Combine all fruits in a large bowl.
  3. Add enough orange juice to fill bowl half full. Stir to coat fruit and prevent browning of fruit. If needed, add sugar to sweeten fruit.
