Pineapple and American Cheese Salad
Serve this pineapple, cheese and marshmallow salad over lettuce for a pre-meal treat, or dish it up as a sweet dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- 1 cup American cheese, diced
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- ¼ cup nuts, chopped
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions
- Beat egg; add sugar, flour, pineapple juice and water. Cook over medium-low heat until thick.
- Cool and pour over pineapple, cheese, marshmallows and nuts mixture. Can be served as a dessert, or serve as a salad by placing on lettuce.
