Ingredients

  • ½ cup diced Gala or Golden Delicious apples (equals about half a medium apple)
  • ⅓ cup apple juice
  • ⅓ cup water
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • ¹⁄₈ teaspoon salt (optional)
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats, uncooked

Instructions

  1. Combine apples, juice, water and seasonings; bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in rolled oats; cook 10 minutes. Let stand several minutes before serving.
