Goo Goo Pie Recipe
Get the taste of a Goo Goo Cluster in pie form! This frozen dessert is sure to please fans of the Tennessee candy.

Instructions

  1. Layer marshmallow creme evenly over the pie crust. Spoon caramel over marshmallow layer. Follow with the ice cream.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate with the vegetable oil for about 1 minute. Stir and melt for another minute, if necessary. Spoon quickly over ice cream.
  3. Cover with peanuts (and Goo Goo Cluster pieces, if using), and freeze for several hours before serving.

  1. Went to 5 stores searching for Goo Goo Clusters and no one had them so I used Snickers. Pie tasted very good but it was difficult trying to spread marshmallow cream over the chocolate crust, which resulted in a broken crust. The chocolate/oil mixture was very hard and difficult to cut. Everyone loved the pie, but even though we let it sit for 30 minutes before eating we still had to use a knife and fork to cut. Not sure I will make again.
