White Chocolate Cherry Chews

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- ½-1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 2 cups white chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together butter, margarine, sugars, eggs, salt and vanilla. Stir in self-rising flour. Add whole wheat flour and stir until dough is no longer sticky.
- Fold in nuts, cherries and 1½ cups white chocolate chips.
- Scoop onto cookies sheets. Decorate tops of each cookies with the extra chips.
- Bake 12-15 minutes or until chips begin to brown.
