Pork Chops

Pork chops; cuts of pork

The most popular cut of the pork loin, the chop’s name is determined by where in the loin it is cut. Examples include Porterhouse, rib eye, sirloin pork chop and more.

Braise: For ¾-inch chops, cook over medium-high heat, 6 to 10 minutes, or until evenly browned on both sides. Add enough liquid to reach halfway up the sides of pork, return to boiling, cover and simmer until tender.

Grill: Grill over direct medium heat for 8 to 12 minutes, turning once halfway through.
