Greek Steak Kebabs
Greek kebabs made with sirloin steak and garden-fresh veggies make a tasty addition to any backyard barbecue.

Ingredients
Marinade
- ½ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Kebabs
- 2 pounds sirloin steak
- 2 large red bell peppers
- 2 large green bell peppers
- 2 red onions
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
- Whisk all the marinade ingredients together and add to a shallow dish or large zip-close bag. Cut the sirloin steak into 1- to 2-inch cubes, and then marinate for 2 to 6 hours in the refrigerator.
- Cut the peppers and onion into chunks and toss with the pepper, salt, oregano and oil.
- Once the meat is done, remove it from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Preheat grill to 500 degrees. Thread the steak, peppers and onions onto wood or metal skewers with each kebab having about 4 pieces of meat.
- Cook the kebabs 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Let them sit for about 5 minutes and then serve.
