Salted Caramel Banana French Toast
Serve a sweet breakfast with this french toast recipe, featuring salted caramel and bananas.


  1. In a wide, shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine half-and-half, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter. Stir over heat until well combined and sugar is dissolved. Cover and simmer over very low heat.
  3. In a skillet, melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Dip bread into egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated, and fry french toast in the skillet until each side is golden.
  4. Top each serving with bananas. Drizzle caramel over prepared toast. (If caramel is too thick, stir in ¼ cup more half-and-half). Sprinkle lightly with salt. Serve immediately.
