Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 9-by-9-inch baking dish.
- Whisk together egg, applesauce, sugar, oil, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour until smooth.
- Add walnuts and apples. Combine well and spoon into baking dish.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut with a sharp knife.
