- 2-3 pounds beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup apple butter
- 1/8 cup Dijon mustard
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Place brisket in a roasting pan, fat side up. In a medium bowl, combine soup mix, apple butter and mustard. Spread evenly over top of meat. Cover with pan lid or secure top with foil.
- Cook 3-4 hours, until fork tender. Slice thinly and serve with pan juices.
