Crown Roast of Pork

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Wipe the meat carefully. Mix the flour, salt and pepper in a small bowl and rub over the meat. To keep the ends of the bones from burning, cover with a stiff dough of flour and water.
  3. Place in a baking pan and roast at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and roast for 1 ½ to 2 hours, depending on the size of the roast (20 to 30 minutes per pound) or until meat thermometer reaches 155 degrees.

  1. This is the most disgusting pork crown roast I’ve ever made!! Dry, tasteless and disgusting! I am a great cook and I know for a fact I know how to make a crown roast! Please alter this recipe or you will be faced with the sadness I was faced with! My family could not chew through the crusty hard chunks of meat.
