- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 8 pieces swirl rye bread
- 4 ounces goat cheese
- 4 ounces thin-sliced sharp white cheddar cheese
- In a microwaveable bowl, melt butter, oil and garlic cloves to a simmer, about 1 minute. Set aside.
- Evenly distribute cheeses on 4 slices of the bread. Top with remaining slices. Brush each outside surface of the bread with the garlic-flavored butter/oil.
- Grill in a skillet over medium heat until the cheese melts and the bread is golden brown.
