A combination of white and green asparagus makes for a pretty presentation in this seasonal side dish.

- Steam asparagus until tender, about 8 minutes. Put the white asparagus on to steam first before adding the green, as it takes a bit longer.
- In a large skillet, melt and lightly brown the butter. Toss in the asparagus, salt and toasted nuts. Serve warm.
