Classic rice pilaf recipe
This traditional rice dish dresses up any dinner.

Instructions

  1. Saute onion in butter until soft. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add rice and saute an additional minute.
  2. Add broth, thyme, bay leaf and salt, then bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 20 minutes. Cool immediately on sheet pans.
